The ISAP 2nd International Symposium on Asphalt Pavements & Environment is scheduled for October 1-3, 2012 in Fortaleza, Brazil. Topics include:

- By-products and secondary materials recycling in asphalt pavements

7th RILEM International Conference on Cracking in Pavements
7th RILEM International Conference on Cracking in Pavements will be organized in Delft, The Netherlands on June 20-22, 2012.

First issue of Sabita’s asphaltNEWS for 2011
Welcome to our 1st issue of asphaltNEWS for 2011.
With the construction industry seeking signs of recovery after the sharp downturn, government announcements of significant infrastructure spend over the next few years bodes well. The recently proposed carbon tax legislation again highlights the emphasis on matters environment.
In this issue we publish the final chapter of the warm mix asphalt trials in eThekwini Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal. This has been a project which has seen a record number of installments in our asphaltNEWS e-magazine due to its ground breaking nature. We can now look forward to the interim guidelines of this project which will be published later in the year.
As usual our asphaltNEWS e-magazine is filled with a diverse selection of articles which we hope you will find interesting. Let us know if you would like to see a specific subject covered and we will do our utmost to oblige.
